How do the first few pages of the Bible set the stage for the rest of the story?

What the Bible wants us to ponder is that everything God created is in a state of active rebellion. Not content to trust God’s wisdom of good and bad. Trying to make a great name for ourselves rather than making God’s name great. And where does that get us?

How will God restore creation and remove evil so that people can live in his presence and experience his life again? At this point in the story it seems unlikely that a human will be able to do it...
Well you know...God did make that promise to Eve about the snake-crusher...maybe that will be something.

During this time of social distancing, we are inviting all our members and friends to come together in the new year for a journey through God’s Word together. Starting January 3, we will explore the big picture of the Bible from beginning to end, wrapping up at the end of October.
