Heart for the House: Moving Forward Together
We are Risk-Takers
Matthew 25:14-18: 14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more. 17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. 18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
GBC Vision Statement: We seek to be a Christ-centered family that grows culture shaping Christians.
Most institutions begin as risk-takers, grow to be caretakers, yet end up as undertakers!
Risk-Takers will…:
1. _________________ their potential.
It’s not about equal gifts, but equal sacrifice.
2. __________________ His return.
Doing nothing with his investments is not an option.
3. __________________ to play it safe.
There is a difference between being a good-talker and being a risk-taker.
4. _________________ ALL IN.
We don’t serve Him to gain rewards; we serve Him because we love Him.
Closing Thought: If we bury this golden opportunity, we will discover at the end of our lives we wasted God’s precious giG. Let’s risk it all for the Lord.
