The Christmas story is the historical account of God becoming man.

In the heart of a believer there should be overwhelming joy in Jesus, which is amplified as we celebrate His birth.

There is a joy in that manger that can surpass your circumstance.

Mary magnifies the Lord because of His grace to save her.

Mary magnifies the Lord, because she is humbled that God would use her in His cosmic plan to redeem all things.

The joy-filled surprise found in Christmas is that the baby in the manger is the sovereign God of the universe.

The only way to experience the joy that God has for you is to come to Him hungry and poor.

The greatest sign that God has poured out mercy for those who do not deserve it is the baby in the manger and the God-man on the cross. This great truth fills our hearts with joy.
