Gospel Community Church

December 13 - 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 (pt. 2)
Locations & Times
Gospel Community Church
383 Fayette Pl, Fayetteville, GA 30214, United States
Sunday 9:30 AM
1) God is at work at GCC. He has grown us spiritually, numerically, and financially.
2) We have expanded our leadership team! Please welcome Chelsae Knight to the Lead Deacon Board.
3) The first Sunday in January, we will begin our Covenant Membership and Renewal Process.
Why are we doing this?
(1) We have new faces here, and we want you to have an opportunity to join the church.
(2) The pastors need to know who they are responsible to shepherd.
(3) It reminds our members of why they have come into covenant membership with Gospel Community Church.
(4) It gives members an opportunity to speak up or ask questions they ordinarily wouldn’t bring up.
(5) It provides covenant members an exit ramp if they no longer want to be a member of Gospel Community Church.

A cessationist is someone who believes that the miraculous spiritual gifts (prophecy, healings, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues) ended with the Apostolic age.
“The perfect” is a reference to the state things will be in upon Christ's return.
The knowledge that we enjoy, found in the scriptures and through the revelatory gifts, are true, but they not exhaustive or comprehensive. In the age to come, our minds will be continually blown away.
The greatest of these is love, because love will continue with us into eternity.
Christians and non-Christians alike can fake miraculous signs, but you cannot fake genuine love.
Heaven is the eternal expansion of our knowledge about God, the eternal expansion of our joy in God, and in one another.
