Week 3 - Good Fruit
Oasis Church Vision Statement:

Jeremiah 17:7-8 “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.
8 They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit."
First week... focused on "planted"
We need to recognize the OUR LIFE IS A SEED... A seed can only grow if it’s planted.
Last week, focus on roots...
Roots allow us to be connected to a source greater than any problem on the surface.

Today, we want to focus on the FRUIT
Colossians 1:6 This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace.
We are spiritually planted to bear spiritual fruit.
Colossians 1:10 Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better.

Romans 12:6-8 In His grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. 7 If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. 8 If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
H = Heart
A = Abilities
P = Personality
E = Experiences
An "Unfruitful Christian" is a contradiction.
Philippians 1:11 May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God.
Living life for God makes life worth living...
John 15:4-5 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in Me. 5 “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.
We may see ourselves as lacking... Jesus reminds us we have all we need IN HIM to produce fruit!
Be prayerfully involved as Oasis Church.
Be physically involved as Oasis Church.
