Matthew 24:3 - As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

Matthew 24:8 – “But all this is only the birth pains, with more to come.”

Matthew 24:12 - Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,

“The water outside a ship does it no harm until it enters the ship itself. So outward persecution cannot really injure the Church of God, but when the mischief oozes into the Church, and the love of God’s people wax cold, ah, then the ship is in distress.”

Matthew 24:14-15 – “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel - let the reader understand -

STUDY THIS
Daniel 9:24-26 - A period of seventy sets of seven has been decreed for your people and your holy city to finish their rebellion, to put an end to their sin, to atone for their guilt, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to confirm the prophetic vision, and to anoint the Most Holy Place. 25 “Now listen and understand! Seven sets of seven plus sixty-two sets of seven will pass from the time the command is given to rebuild Jerusalem until a ruler - the Anointed One- comes. Jerusalem will be rebuilt with streets and strong defenses, despite the perilous times. 26 After this period of sixty-two sets of ‘seven,’ the Anointed One will be killed appearing to have accomplished nothing, and a ruler will arise whose armies will destroy the city and the Temple. The end will come with a flood, and war and its miseries are decreed from that time to the very end. (NLT)

Daniel 9:27– “He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing (temple) he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.

Daniel sees 490 years of total prophecy

In 49 years (when it was decreed to rebuild the temple and Jerusalem) + 434 years later (when Jesus gave His life on a cross) = 483 years have been fulfilled.

There are still 7 years of prophesy missing.


Daniel 12:1-4 - “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise.
There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time Your people - everyone whose name is found written in the book - will be delivered. (2) Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.”

Daniel 12:8-10 - I heard what he said, but I did not understand what he meant. So I asked, “How will all this finally end, my lord?”9 But he said, “Go now, Daniel, for what I have said is kept secret and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand. Only those who are wise will know what it means.

Daniel 12:11,13 - “From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”

2 Peter 3:10-12 - But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. 11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 – “May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
