At Christmas we celebrate that Jesus was born and He came to earth to be near us. But what does it mean that God is near or that He came to be near? How close is He? And is He close even when I don’t feel it? Jesus came to be near to show us more of what God is like. He also came near to walk with us as we go through life. Not only is He with us, but in us through His Spirit. And when we face struggles, trials, pain & suffering, He can be nearer than ever before.
