WHAT WILL YOUR CHRISTMAS LOOK LIKE THIS YEAR?
Joseph’s holiday plans turned out to be anything but normal.
Right in the middle of Joseph’s wedding hopes, the rug gets pulled out from under him.
Mary tells him point blank - She’s Pregnant
HOW DO YOU HANDLE SITUATIONS WHEN THE RUG GETS PULLED OUT FROM UNDER YOU?
“Timothy, you should keep a clear mind in every situation.” 2 Timothy 4:5
“Because Joseph was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had it in mind to break the engagement quietly.” Matthew 1:19
“Joseph, do not be afraid. Take Mary as your wife, because what is conceived in her is in fact from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son and you will name Him Jesus because He will save people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20b - 21
Joseph received two instructions from the Lord:
Marry Mary
Name the baby Jesus
WHEN DOES IT GET HARD FOR YOU TO HEAR FROM GOD?
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
“I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
“Peace that passes human understanding.”
Philippians 4:7
“Pour out your heart to God. He is a refuge for you.”
Psalm 62:8
“Do not be afraid.” Matthew 1:20
