31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?... 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?... 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Romans 8
Romans 8
(1) Love God Fully
30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30

(2) Serve God Faithfully
"The Lord ensures the believer that he will receive a just, eternal compensation for his efforts (cf. Rev. 20:12, 13), even if his earthly boss or master does not compensate fairly."
The MacArthur Study Bible

(3) Sacrifice Personally
31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, 33 just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved.
1 Cor. 10:31

God Designed Marriage for Life (2:14-16)
Marriage is about what we give not what we get.
Marriage is about what we give not what we get.
Our society insists decisions should be made by individual “fulfillment,” but the Bible reminds us our decisions are best made in light of our individual “responsibilities” to one another.
God Directs the Refining Process (3:2-4)
Our purification is purposeful, controlled and timely.
Our purification is purposeful, controlled and timely.
•The purpose of the refining process is repentance: a change of action (1:8) and of attitude (1:14).
•The controls of the refining process are managed by God; he adjusts the heat to reveal our impurities (3:2).
In the process of refining metals, the raw metal is heated with fire until it melts. The impurities separate from it and rise to the surface. They are skimmed off, leaving the pure metal. Without this heating and melting there could be no purifying. As the impurities are skimmed off the top, the reflection of the worker appears in the clear pure surface. As we are purified by God, his reflection in our life will become more and more clear to those around us.
