As Christians, we should be distinctly different from the world around us

Complaining has become a national past time for many of us

What is your go-to complaint?

How can you catch yourself/your family complaining this week?

The question is not will you shine for Jesus but rather, how brightly you will shine for Jesus.

Lights bring hope and guidance in the midst of darkness and uncertainty.

So many of us have valid reasons to complain after a year like 2020

It is important to recognize the difference between happiness and joy

It’s been a hard year for everyone! Think about how different Christians would stand out, how brightly we would shine, how much hope we could offer if we didn’t get so caught up in complaining, arguing and grumbling!

Every light has a source. As Christians, our source is the Word of Life

What causes you to shine brighter and brighter is how much tighter and tighter you hold onto God’s word.

How connected are you to The Source?

How can you spend daily time in God’s word?

Is Sunday morning your only touchpoint with God’s word?

What is your hold of God’s word? Do you have it by a little corner dangling, or do you have a firm grip, have you held fast to God’s word?

In whatever situation we are in, we have a reason to rejoice!

How brightly are you shining?

What is your grasp on God’s word?
