• Read Psalm 118:24 above
• When was the last time you simply sat and lived in the moment, praising God for all that he has done?
• Do you find yourself constantly busy with work, school, responsibilities, stress? Consider the quote from this week's movie, Christopher Robin: "Doing nothing often leads to the very best something."
Read James 4:14 above
So many people make a living at the expense of making a life.
• Have you ever caught yourself saying "I don't have time for this" when interrupted by friends or family? How would your perspective change if you understood your life to be happening right now?
• Do you feel lost and overwhelmed in life? Jesus wants to meet you where you feel most lost in life.
Start Praying
Be bold and pray with power.
• Father God, thank you for giving me a new perspective on life and what is most important. Lord, I am sorry for the times that I get so wrapped up in the stress and responsibilities of life that I neglect my family and loved ones. God, help me to prioritize what is most important in my life and embrace that doing nothing often leads to the very best something. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen!
Start Doing
Commit to take a bold step of faith this week
• Is your family getting the worst of you, the last of you? What are some ways you can commit to give them the best of you this week?
• Is your church family getting the worst and last of you? What are some ways you can commit to give your church family the best of you this week?
• Commit to prioritize your life this week and cut some things out that aren't the most important.
