1: Transfer your trust to God
To be like a tree planted by a riverbank, you must trust in Christ as the one and only Savior

2: Grow deep roots in your faith in Christ
Spiritual nourishment
Keep close company with Christ-followers
3: Spiritual maturity and fruit will result as we continue to trust in Christ and continue to grow deep roots
Nourished trees are stable and bear fruit
Nourished believers are stable and bear spiritual fruit
Spiritual fruit = fruit of the spirit, influence for Christ in the lives of others
God nourishes us so we can nourish others
