Judges: Jephthah
In dark and heavy times, in the unconquered parts of our lives, and though we are prone to wander His promises remain true. He redeems. He rescues. He saves. And He invites us on the journey of discovering what it means to be His.

The power of rejection. Even God is moved by rejection, He doesn't change but it definitely moves Him.
Once again the Israelites repeat the pattern of Complacency and Sin against God. Israel rejects God and worships idols.
Worship and sacrifice go hand in hand, and therefore; What gets our hearts? Our sacrifice? Our worship?
The Bible is more of a mirror for our lives than a window into others.
As Christ-followers we are walking in relationship with a perfect and faithful God who is helping us discover what it means to be His.

Have we (in our heart) rejected someone sent as a gift from the Lord to help us learn, grow, shift, become more like Him?
The Truth is: Rejection is powerful!
The rejection that we see here that is so sad is the rejection of God’s grace.
Nullify = Reject
If I reject the grace of God, Jesus died for nothing. And we know he died for something.

With the uncertainty this year has brought, it seems even more significant to have the opportunity to share joy and hope with our community. We are thrilled to continue the tradition of hosting the annual Christmas in Manheim Tree Lighting Celebration on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Join us in being intentionally present with our neighbors as we share the love of Jesus this Christmas season.
