The body and blood of Christ is the only meal that will satisfy our souls and unify the church!

When the church does not dine on Christ, it consumes itself.

Jesus is meant to be consumed!

When we are dining on Christ, we can praise God despite our current situation.

Practically speaking, we must not consume one another. THE BODY IS NOT MEANT TO BE CONSUMED.

At GCC, we partake in the Lord's Supper every week because
1. We are forgetful.
2. We want to remain hungry.
3. It is the center of our unity.

If you are a Christian, then you have been blood-bought by the King. If you have been blood-bought then your worth is, therefore, no longer the sum of your accomplishments minus your failures, but rather your worth is in the person and work of Jesus Christ alone.

The Lord’s Supper is to be taken by Christians who are partaking in remembrance of the acts of salvation on their behalf by Christ.

When we consume ourselves and others for nourishment, we continue to starve and starving people do desperate and despicable things.

When we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world.

2. Come hungry to the Supper.

3. Walk in unity with your fellow sinner-saints.
