As we look at Psalm 100 we are reminded of the joy and worship we can have even in difficult times just because of who God is.

Believers have a unique joy in every circumstance
Psalm 100 reminds that we can have an attitude of joy and thankfulness because of who God is
Psalm 100 reminds that we can have an attitude of joy and thankfulness because of who God is

Our feelings don’t drive truth and action; truth drives feelings and action

Acknowledging who God is, reminds us of our true hope
Our praise or lack of praise exposes our spiritual health
Gratitude points us back to the sacrifice made for us in Jesus and that the Holy Spirit is at work making us new
Our praise or lack of praise exposes our spiritual health
Gratitude points us back to the sacrifice made for us in Jesus and that the Holy Spirit is at work making us new

We are strengthened not because of who we are, but because of who God is

We have joy because we are told as believers, we belong to Him
How are we to come into the courts and praise and give thanks?
- “make a joyful noise”
| -standing ovation at the end of a concert
| -With energy, like in a stadium
| -A war cry
- Give thanks: “yodah”
- Make it public knowledge of His goodness
- Like a child: They run to you with thanks!
How do live in way of gratefulness?
- Make noise!
- Serve Him by serving others, BUT serve with JOY
- Singing
- Go to him with praise
- Recount His goodness to you
Our true and enduring joy is rooted firmly in who God is
The praise we give Him on Earth should remind and point us to our future reality
Worship Him today imagining all the immense joy we will some day enjoy
