You've heard your pastors say, "Anything that is not of God is a desire we need to get rid of." "But that’s not fair!" may be the guttural reaction. Surely a God that loves us wants us to be happy! He wants us to experience life! He wants us to satisfy our curiosity. Join us Sunday on our first Advent week leading into Christmas - the time of year when the lines between need and want are blurred because of our desires. It's time to wake up from the nightmare of unchecked greed.

What You Desire
• Young children

How You Feel
• Reliance on our Father vs. our desire
• Unchecked greed always leads us away from God
• Worshiping someone or something other than God
• Greed is uncontrollable

Who or What You Worship
• We covet things, rather than God
• Worshiping the wrong things breaks God’s heart
• When we:
→ Rely on anything more than we rely on God
→ Put anything in place of God
→ Eternal consequences
• If God was gone tomorrow, how would that change your life?
• God is all we need - He is all we should worship
• Replace desire of things with desire of Him
• Replace the greedy - fill up on God

Life Application
• Look at where you may have unchecked greed
• Wake up from the nightmare
• Look at what you desire, how you feel and who you worship this week
• Make corrections as needed

Family Nights on the 2nd Thursday of each month!

We have heard from many of you that you would like a family night and time for fellowship with other church families. Thank you for all the great ideas for family nights. We now have enough of them to get started!

On the second Thursday of each month we will get together and play games like Jeopardy Quarantine; online board games; Family Scavenger Hunts; Teddy Bear Tea Party; Creating a Summer Family Memory Jar; Virtual Races and much more!

Communion Sundays

Communion is offered monthly, usually the first Sunday of the month. Communion elements can be requested and will be delivered in the most efficient way. Please notify us two weeks ahead of Communion Sunday so we can do our best to make sure the elements are delivered on time. Each packet has been personally prayed over and blessed by the pastors.
