What Submission Doesn’t Mean
•The dominance of man
•Abusive relationships
•Submission in all areas
•Using this verse as a tool to wield over your wives
•A man gets to bully his wife around
•A wife must submit to whatever her husband says
•A wife as no say in decision making

What Submission is
•In the context of mutual submission
•An invitation to lead
•Shows Trust in God

Things to Remember
•We are a called out group of aliens—called out to be priests—to point people to God by how we live and interact with others
•Our submission in the various areas of our lives is supposed to be a witness to others of the reality of Christ

So What?
•We must be diligent to study the Word of God that we may know how to live
•We must continually seek God for empowerment to live His way
•We need to keep our hope set on the grace that will be brought when Christ is revealed
