Welcome to part 4, the final message of our series ‘#faithful.’
Throughout this series we have been exploring what it means to be faithful with the resources God has given us.
We began with the foundational understanding found in Psalm 24:1, “The earth is the LORD’S and everything in it.”.
Finally, your Gifts and Abilities. We're all good at something, but how can we move forward from recognising our gifts to using them faithfully?
Here are 3 principles for being #faithful with the gifts and abilities we have been blessed with.
Understand who gave you the Gifts and Abilities in the first place.

Our gifts & abilities have been entrusted to us by God. This is true of not only those gifts that we might consider “spiritual” but also those gifts and abilities that we might consider “natural.”
If the gifts and abilities we have are not from us, should their purpose be restricted to us? Or used in view of the free gift that they are?
Use your gifts and abilities to serve others

1 Peter 4:10-11 NIV
God has given us gifts & abilities not so that they can be placed on the shelf to be admired, but so that they will be used.
And not only used but used to serve others in a way that brings praise to God.
Who receives the benefits of the #faithful use of your gifts and abilities?
Keep developing your gifts and abilities

2 Timothy 1:6-7 NIV
Most of our self-improvement energy these days gets spent on areas of weakness, leading to neglect of our gifts & abilities.
It does makes sense; we are already good at those things. But would God have us focus on our weakness, or focus on growing and developing the gifts and abilities He has entrusted to us?
How will you have your greatest impact for His kingdom?
So remember;
Understand that every gift and ability you have is from God
Use your gifts and abilities to serve others
Develop your gifts & abilities
