God Acts

The one true God is incomparable; He will complete His plan to save His people.
Isaiah 46:3-13

Many of us will “plan our work, and work our plan” when seeking to accomplish a big task. Doing so may require a singular focus. We may even choose to participate only in activities that contribute to the plan’s success and abstain from involvement in anything that gets in the way of us working our plan. Isaiah 46 indicates God has a plan and is committed to it. His plan is to save His people, and nothing will keep Him from accomplishing this plan of salvation, not even the hardheartedness of the people He will save. Share about a time you completed a task by following a specific plan.

FBC Keller University is a place where you and your whole family will take a deeper dive into scripture. We are committed to equipping and training you as you grow in the Word and in your Christian walk. We hope you will join us for our first series, "Cultivating a Heart of Thanksgiving." This series arrives at a perfect time when many are facing unprecedented challenges while approaching the holiday season. Each week will present a unique challenge and biblical, actionable answers to that challenge. You will leave with the proper knowledge and application of God's Word.

Bless children around the world with a tangible expression of God’s love through a gift-filled shoebox. Build a shoebox online from your computer or handheld device. In just a few clicks, you can select toys and other fun items to include as well as a letter and photo to delight the heart of a child. You can also pick up a box and label in the north or south entrances to fill at home. Please return filled boxes by November 15 to the north preschool desk.The Gospel of Jesus Christ is shared when shoeboxes boxes are distributed. As a result, families are reached, new churches are started, and communities are transformed. It all begins with you.

Calling all artists, all ages, all media! Worship our savior through art this Advent season. Submit your paintings, drawings, carvings, sculptures, and other media. All ages are welcome to participate – children, students, and adults.

Be sure to join us virtually via Zoom on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. for our Wednesday evening prayer meeting. You will need a link with an access code to participate.

Beginning September 13, we will be asking each of our Adult Bible Study Classes to rotate to one of our designated remote worship areas (either the Gym or the LOFT) once per month during Worship Service times. This only affects the Worship Service times (8:30 and 11:00 a.m.) and does not affect your Sunday school class time or location. This rotation schedule allows for adequate social distancing during Worship Service times. Please contact Jack Gatewood with any questions or concerns. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

During these unique times, our media team is more active than ever. Between livestream and multiple overflow rooms, we now need double the amount of people for each service. We are seeking individuals who have a desire to join our media team. You don’t need any experience, just a heart to serve. We will train you, even if you are technologically challenged. If you are interested in joining the media ministry and serving our church, please contact Rob Eisenmann at reisenmann@fbckeller.org or call the church office.

Our Cart Ministry could use some more drivers. If you're interested in helping in this important ministry, please contact Pete Mitchell at pete.mitchell@gmagarnet.com or the church office. We have four different time slots, and we could use your help! Thank you.

Show Christ’s love each Thursday morning by helping with classes where people from other countries learn English.
We have class sessions followed by one-on-one times of practice and conversation. We need people who can lead the classes and people who can simply guide one student. Training will be provided.
This fall, all instruction is online via Zoom.
