FAMILY TIME: Read I Peter 5:5 to your kids and talk about humility. Explain how to be a good leader you have to learn to listen to other people’s opinions and ideas. Sit down and make a list of ideas. It can be a list of where your kids want to go on vacation, or a list of projects they want to do, or a list of books they want to read, or a list of hikes they want to take. The idea is to make a list that really motivates them, as a family vote on it, go do it and show your kids how you want to be humble and make sure you understand their ideas.
