Stuff the Bus
is the collecting of school supplies to be shared with Granite Falls Elementary. These supplies will be distributed by the school's guidance counselors at their discretion based on a request from the teachers to needy students. Here is a list of needed items:
Pencils(yellow and NOT mechanical), wide rule paper, glue sticks, one-subject notebooks, three-ring binders(ideally with clear front pockets), crayons, markers, and highlighters. For the younger grades, pencil boxes are needed items. Boxes located upstairs and downstairs for you to place your donated items.
LIFE GROUPS
Next Sunday, August 19, is Life Group Sunday. Life Groups is the name of Day3's Small Group Ministry. On the 19th, signups will begin for the Fall semester. If you have never, or for some time, been a part of a Life Group, why not start this Fall? There will be different groups offered on various nights from which you can choose. Life is best lived in a community of believers who support, care, love, and serve each other. Begin praying what group God would have you to join.....NOT if he wants you to join. He does....so be ready to sign-up on the 19th.

Kairos Women's
at Swannanoa are July 28th, Aug 11th, Aug 25th and Sept 8th at Swannanoa Baptist. We will be meeting at the church at 745 to drive up together. The Kairos weekend is September 20-23rd at the Swannanoa Women's Correctional Facility. There is still time to sign up.

Operation Christmas Child Year-Round Packing
Savvy shoppers know that they can impact more children around the world for eternity by looking for shoebox items throughout the year. We will focusing on a different suggested item of the month each month. Together we will be using this item to bless and delight the boys and girls. #OCCitemofthemonth
