Prayer is the most important work we do in the kingdom of God.
Matthew 9:37-38 KJV
There are 3 things the Spirit needs to teach us about prayer, in order for prayer to be our work.
1. Prayer takes time just as all quality work takes time.
2. If the work of prayer is to succeed, it must be planned properly.
3. If prayer is to be effective, it must never become mundane and impersonal.
1. Acknowledge God's sovereignty

4. Demonstrate God's character

and forgive us our sins, just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us.
5. Trust in God's protection

Two things God gives us to accomplish His work:
1. The Holy Spirit

"And I tell you more: whenever two of you on earth agree about anything you pray for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.

"It was because you do not have enough faith," answered Jesus. "I assure you that if you have faith as big as a mustard seed, you can say to this hill, 'Go from here to there!' and it will go. You could do anything!"
