Think about it ...
Use the questions below to personally journal and think about the message this week. If you are in a small group, use them as your discussion questions.
1. What are some times or situations where Jesus is a popular figure? Is that often a true, false, or partial representation of Him?
2. Do you join in with a presentation of a popular view of Jesus? What if it is not a true one? Do you know how to discern the truth about Jesus?
3. What can make it unpopular or difficult to follow Jesus at Lent or always?
4. How do you react, when following Jesus is not the popular thing to do?
5. How can you prepare for difficult challenges like that?
What am I going to do about it?
1. Based on what you heard in the message, what are some of the key lessons you learned?
2. List one or two ways you can specifically apply them in your life.
3. Write a prayer of thanks for the lessons learned or ask Jesus to help you follow Him more closely in the ways you were challenged this week.
