We will see that Jonah can do nothing to get out of the fish because “Salvation comes from the Lord.” That’s where salvation comes from. It’s from God. It’s not from you. It’s not from your works. It’s not from doing good things or not doing bad things.

2. Repentance TRUSTS in GOD ALONE.
Not GOOD WORKS
Not MORALITY
Not SINCERITY
3. Forgiveness results in THANKFULNESS and CHANGE.
