(Galatians 3:21-22 NLT) “Is there a conflict, then, between Godʼs law and Godʼs promises? Absolutely not! If the law could give us new life, we could be made right with God by obeying it.

But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive Godʼs promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.”
> Freedom from our pain.

> Freedom from our failures.

> Freedom from our sin.

> Freedom from our selfishness.

The Price: Surrendering Control

(Galatians 2:20) “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
1.Give Him your passions.

(Matthew 6:21 NLT) “Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.”

2. Give Him your problems.

(Romans 6:14 NLT) “Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of Godʼs grace.”
3. Give Him your plans.

(Psalm 20:4 NLT) “May he grant your heartʼs desires and make all your plans succeed.”

(Mark 8:34-36) Then He called the crowd to Him along with His disciples and said: "If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Me and for the gospel will save it.

What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?”
1. Deny yourself.

(Romans 6:12-13 NLT) “Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires.

Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God...”
2. Follow Him.

(1 Corinthians 11:1) “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.”
3. Stand firm.

(Galatians 5:1) “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”
4. Focus on Godʼs best.

(Galatians 5:22-23 MSG) “But what happens when we live God's way? He brings gifts into our lives,

much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity.

We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people.

We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.”
