Welcome to Friends
We are a church joining God in the renewal of all things! We participate in God's renewal by Loving God, Loving People and Loving Life.

Our values statements are what we believe to be essential for us to be the church right here and now.

OUR VALUES
Engaged Followers
We actively engage in practices that form us from the inside out to be more Christ like.

Engaged Convictions
We live out our biblical convictions with boldness shaping what we do here and now.

Engaged Mission
We all share in the mission to make disciples of Christ locally and globally.

Where are we going?
It's our dream to launch a new campus in Orland within the next five years. Our desire is to see over 200 people come to know the Lord through through Friends Capay and Friends Orland! We believe that Jesus transforms hearts and minds bringing reconciliation to families, communities and the world!
Luke 5:1-3
One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God. He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat.

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.”
Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything.

Genesis 1:1-5
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning —the first day.

Luke 5:5b-11
But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”
When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners.
Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.” So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.
