Ephesians 3:14-21 The Prayer Concludes (finally....)
Paul has been in prayer, pretty much from the start of the letter. Today we reach the "Amen!" before he launches into the living realities that flow out of what God has done for us in Christ as we are empowered by the Spirit. For this message, we'll be doubling back and taking a run at this closing prayer.

This is a good time to go back and review the key things we've learned from Ephesians 1 to 3...actually, let's just read the whole thing in one shot....

Have you ever read a letter from a good friend in small chunks? How odd is that? Paul wrote a letter - we often miss the power and emotion of the Bible because we fail to read it out loud, and without the breaks we've imposed on it for so long.
1. The Posture of Prayer (3:14-15)
2. The Content of Prayer (3:16-19)
3. The Glory of Prayer (3:20-21)
Paul is praying - so that means he is not asking us to do anything. He is asking GOD to do something for us! Paul wants some very specific things to be real in our lives, but we can't make them happen - God by His Spirit has to do the work. So to, we need to stop trying so hard and ask God to do for us what we cannot possibly do on our own.
