What is the kingdom of heaven?
What is the will of God according to Jesus?
What do you observe in the story of the two houses. What are the contrastes between the two buildings?
Interpret-
Why is hearing the words not enough? Why does Jesus emphasize acting on the words?
Why do you think Jesus rejects the good deeds expressed in v. 22?
What practices are necessary to be a person who builds his house on a rock?
Apply-
What is one practice you will incorporate into your life this week that will strengthen your relationship with Jesus? Is there anything you will stop doing?
What encourages you or discourages you about this passage?
Who is someone you could share this learning with?
