God wants me happy!
(Psalm 97:12) “May all who are godly be happy.” (NLT)
THE THEOLOGY OF HAPPINESS
1. What makes me happy must be right. Whatever makes me unhappy must be wrong.
2. Discomfort, delay, risk, suffering, inconveniences, and obstacles can’t be God’s will.
3. I begin to worship the false gods of comfort, money, pleasure and things.
(Psalm 97:12) “May all who are godly be happy.” (NLT)

GOD DOESN’T WANT YOU HAPPY
1. WHEN IT CAUSES YOU TO DO SOMETHING WRONG OR UNWISE.
(1 Peter 1:15) "But just as He who called you is happy, so be happy in all you do."

2. WHEN IT IS ONLY BASED ON THINGS OF THIS WORLD.
(1 John 2:15-17) 15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17 The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
