Welcome to Agincourt Church this morning! We're so glad you have joined us today.

See below for a short article from Pastor Jonathan, teaching notes and announcements.
Welcome to ‘RESET’, a pre-summer series designed to help you hit the ‘RESET’ button!

There comes a moment in everyone’s life where they have to hit the ‘RESET’ button. Life has a way of getting out-of-control and sliding us into places where we nd ourselves threadbare, spent and broken! Fortunately, God knew that humans, while made in God’s image, had this tendency [because of our brokenness] to run at paces and occupy spaces that were harmful to us and those around us. Moved with compassion for His creation, God provided an opportunity to hit the ‘RESET’ button in many areas of our lives:

- Our boundaries
- Our margin
- Our blame game
- Our route or direction

As a spiritual community let’s lean in and allow God’s Spirit to lead us in a series that can free and restore us so that we can focus on KNOWING GOD, LOVING PEOPLE and IMPACTING OUR CITY together!

Lead Pastor
“The Permissive
Church of Freedom”
(Freedom without Boundaries)
“The Authoritarian
Church of Legalism”
(Boundaries without Freedom)
1. DOES IT HAVE A HEALTHY OUTCOME?
“Everything is permissible for me but not everything is beneficial.”

~ 1 Corinthians 6:12a
2. WILL IT WEAKEN CHRIST’S RULE IN MY LIFE?
“Everything is permissible for me but I will not be mastered by anything.”

~ 1 Corinthians 6:12b
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

~ Galatians 5:1
3. WHAT IS THE IMPACT ON OTHERS?
“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’”

~ Galatians 5:13-14
“Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall.”

~ 1 Corinthians 8:13
“If I take part in the meal with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of something I thank God for? So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God— even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved."

~ 1 Corinthians 10:30-33
4. WHAT BRINGS MAXIMUM GLORY TO GOD?
What did Jesus choose?
Boundaries that led to our Freedom!
