WHAT’S NEXT?
God has plans for you! He has you here on the earth for a Divine Purpose!
Jeremiah 1:4-9 GNT4 The Lord said to me, 5 “I knew you before you were formed within your mother’s womb; before you were born I sanctified you and appointed you as my spokesman to the world.”6 “O Lord God,” I said, “I can’t do that! I’m far too young! I’m only a youth!”7 “Don’t say that,” he replied, “for you will go wherever I send you and speak whatever I tell you to. 8 And don’t be afraid of the people, for I, the Lord, will be with you and see you through.”
9 Then he touched my mouth and said, “See, I have put my words in your mouth! 10 Today your work begins, to warn the nations and the kingdoms of the world. In accord with my words spoken through your mouth I will tear down some and destroy them, and plant others, nurture them, and make them strong and great.”
Before you were born, you were in the mind and heart of God!
You are not an accident or the plan of mom or dad, you are sent to the earth from the Father in Heaven!
Everything we learned as we counted down the days and weeks towards Pentecost in the process will not be wasted. The Holy Spirit lives in you and will guide you into all truth and show you what you need to know, as you need it.
There is a difference between mission and purpose.
The Mission is part of your purpose, but many times a mission is for a specific time period or season.
Purpose is not time based or mission based, it is about the will of God written for you in heaven.
People sometimes will get confused or driven to do a mission because they don’t understand that purpose doesn’t mean you are always driven to do, or to go on the next mission!
Ephesians 2:10 CEV God planned for us to do good things and to live as he has always wanted us to live. This is why he sent Christ to make us what we are.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 ISVHe made everything appropriate in its time. He also placed eternity within them—yet, no person can fully comprehend what God is doing from beginning to end.
Proverbs 25:2 NLT
It is God’s privilege to conceal things and the king’s privilege to discover them.
God is not hiding His purpose from you but for you!
1 Corinthians 2:9-10 NLT9 That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imaginedwhat God has preparedfor those who love him.”10 Butit was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.
What’s next is for you to seek Him!
Hebrews 11:6 DARBY But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]. For he that draws near to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them who seek him out.
It’s time for you to find out more about what’s in your book? Don’t waste your life on a mission you were never supposed to go on!
2 Chronicles 35:19-24 NLT 19 This Passover was celebrated in the eighteenth year of Josiah’s reign.20 After Josiah had finished restoring the Temple, King Neco of Egypt led his army up from Egypt to do battle at Carchemish on the Euphrates River, and Josiah and his army marched out to fight him.[a] 21 But King Neco sent messengers to Josiah with this message:
“What do you want with me, king of Judah? I have no quarrel with you today! I am on my way to fight another nation, and God has told me to hurry! Do not interfere with God, who is with me, or he will destroy you.”
22 But Josiah refused to listen to Neco, to whom God had indeed spoken, and he would not turn back. Instead, he disguised himself and led his army into battle on the plain of Megiddo.23 But the enemy archers hit King Josiah with their arrows and wounded him. He cried out to his men, “Take me from the battle, for I am badly wounded!”
24 So they lifted Josiah out of his chariot and placed him in another chariot. Then they brought him back to Jerusalem, where he died. He was buried there in the royal cemetery. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for him.
Josiah a great king died because He was determined to go into a battle he was never supposed to be on! He was only 26 years old!
He died prematurely not finishing what was written in His book!
Psalm 139:13-18MEV 13 You brought my inner parts into being; You wove me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise you, for You made me with fear and wonder; marvelous are Your works, and You know me completely.15 My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret,
and intricately put together in the lowest parts of the earth.16 Your eyes saw me unformed, yet in Your book all my days were written, before any of them came into being.17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with You.
We need to emulate and be like Jesus who fulfilled what was written about Him in God’s book!
Hebrews 10:7MEV Then I said, ‘See, I have come to do Your will, O God,’ as it is written of Me in the volume of the book
We need to speak and pray about this! Do it by faith!
“Lord today I believe I have come to do your will as it is written about me in your book!”
Micah 6:8 NLT No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
Genesis 18:19AMP 19 For I have known (chosen, acknowledged) him [as My own], so that he may teach andcommand his children and the sons of his house after him to keep the way of the Lord and to do what is just and righteous, so that the Lord may bring Abraham what He has promised him.
Romans 8:26-29 GNT26 And in the same way—by our faiththe Holy Spirit helps us with our daily problems and in our praying. For we don’t even know what we should pray for nor how to pray as we should, but the Holy Spirit prays for us with such feeling that it cannot be expressed in words. 27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows, of course, what the Spirit is saying as he pleads for us in harmony with God’s own will. 28 And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans.
