Elijah’s Experience and God’s Response
Elijah’s dilapidated condition
* Elijah was on the edge
* I’m the only one who stands for righteousness
* Elijah’s use of the first person personal pronoun “I”
Elijah’s Dire Consequences
His Body was depleted
His Mind was depleted
His Spirit was depleted
There is a Second Touch for the Frazzled Soul
“ A sound of sheer silence” Vs. 12
* Elijah once physically fatigued found food and rest for his weary body
* Elijah once mentally frazzled found renewal for his mind.
* Elijah once spiritually fractured detached from God, found reunion.
Go back the way you came. The way we came was through Jesus, God’s only son who says, “I am the way the truth and the life.” John 14:6There is a second touch for the frazzled soul…and a third touch…and a fourth…
