- How do we know who is committed, how do I know who I am to keep accountable?
- The church is to be an ambassador how do we know who is given that authority?

As we look at Scripture we will find it was clear that they could identify who they submitted and committed to, pastors were responsible for specific believers.

Who has God given to identify who is the church?

The church is the people of God who have been saved by his grace and incorporated as the community of faith.

Members submit to the authority that God gives them in the local church.

Being a member of a church isn’t join a club, it is a way of life

This is why church takes time, be generous with to the church in your time

The leaders of the church equips the people of the church for the work of the ministry

What we are doing on Sunday morning is to prepare and equip you for the rest of your week to go and make new disciples

The ordinances of the church are to continue the mission of the church
- We need membership because the people that are true believers (members, the church) are commanded to baptize (confirm professions of Fatih)
- We need membership because true believers are commanded to remember Christ’s death and resurrection as a church


We see in Scripture that the local church is given authority to confirm who true believers are
