What comes with this deal?

What are we? New creations or creatures in Christ – Old is gone, the new has come. We can leave our old life and ways behind.

· This new creation is still growing, maturing, developing.

· It matures through knowledge of Christ.

How did He do it? The Father promised it, the Son paid for it, The Holy Spirit reminds us of it and patiently works it into our lives.

· This world is a sinking ship and He has provided an Ark, which is Christ, in order for us to escape the impending judgment of this earth.

· It is decreed, and no man will stop it. See Eph. 1

1. Confidence – That God loves me and is for me in every way. Made righteous!

2. Hope – that I am no longer a slave to my old nature. That death, which is coming to all mankind, will be swallowed up in victory for those who believe.

3. Faith – that I can believe the promises regarding the power of God in and through my life.

4. Action – From reconciled to reconciler. This is the heart of the evangelical. To the world it is a threat, a designation – to us it is the natural result of reading the word of God and understanding Christ’s plea to us. “Tell everyone you know! You do not have to suffer and die in your sins, you can be a new creation too!”

As your Pastor, no passage summarizes my heart for you better than this:

Can someone shout “Hallelujah?”

What has God created? We are top of the line, coming with all the finest features, bringing the greatest possible glory to God.

Now that is a great deal!
