God is the generous and giving one, who invites us to join what He is doing in the world, to be a blessing to others.

Worship means to honor, give worth to something.

We are tempted by Satan to think God is selfish/untrustworthy so that we will value/worship other things.

God's generosity, love, and purity is the opposite of egoism/selfishness, and is worthy of gratitude and worship.
