FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY REGISTRATION
Financial Peace University begins this Sunday, September 27 at 12:30 pm in the church’s Fellowship Hall. It’s not too late to sign up! You can either access the unique online link to register OR you can attend the first session and then make a decision to enroll afterwards. You don’t have to be in financial turmoil to benefit from this opportunity. Even if you’re already a good money manager, this class will enable you to go from good to great!

UGANDA E-READERS
The African Children’s Choir opened a new high school called Empower International Academy. We can be a part of empowering students in Uganda by donating money to purchase e-readers for the school. E-readers provide access to a wide variety of books, many more than most Ugandans would ever be able to access in print. Our goal is to raise enough money to send 33 e-readers to Uganda this fall. Help us be a blessing to these young students!

We are intentional about making disciples who know God, build relationships and point people to Jesus, study Scripture and work at living in obedience to what it says, and pray regularly for themselves and others. We meet in groups of three to do the work of growing as disciples and becoming equipped to help others grow. These groups are called disciple making triads. Today we celebrate what God has done in the lives of three women who have completed the triad experience and are equipped and eager to begin new triads.

It’s All About God’s Revelation, Not What Makes Sense To Me.
1. God’s revelation is necessary because my ability to think rightly about Him is flawed. Romans 8:5-7
2. God’s revelation is necessary because my ability to comprehend anything fully including God is limited.
3. Only God can truly reveal Himself to me through the Holy Spirit.
It’s All About God’s Wisdom, Not My Wisdom.
1. Human wisdom has failed miserably to understand or know God correctly. Isaiah 55:8-9
2. God and human beings define differently what makes sense spiritually. Deuteronomy 21:22-23
3. God rejects human wisdom because it excludes Him and what He has already revealed.
It’s All About God’s Action, No What I Have To Offer.
1. The cross reveals I’m not smart enough to discover God on my own.
2. The cross reveals I’m not important enough in this world to impress God.
3. The cross reveals I’m not good enough to earn a relationship with God.
4. Is the cross central for me in how I relate to God every day?
