Angel House Virtual Booth

Have you have been crafting, knitting, painting, or wood-crafting during the Ohio Stay Home Order? After prayerful consideration, the fifth annual Angel House Christmas Bazaar has been “postponed” until next year. However, The Bazaar Team wants to maintain its financial support of the Childrens’ Home in Tanzania. They will be happy to take all the handmade goods, arts, and crafts you are willing to part with as they venture into the “CYBER WORLD”.  They are working hard to launch a virtual sale of your items with all proceeds from the booth going to benefit the children. It’s okay if you haven’t already been crafting, there’s still plenty of time.  We are counting on you! To sign-up to donate an item, visit the link below.

Wednesday Night Dinners

Wednesday Night Dinners will return Wednesday, Oct. 7th. They will run from 5-6:30 p.m. & a donation of $5 per person or $15 per family is appreciated. During this 1st month, we're offering the meals on a carryout basis. People may take the meals home or simply eat in their car. The mission behind WND, is community. In order to still achieve this despite being in the Great Hall, Pastor Dan & various individuals will visit cars in the parking lot. Please note that NO meals will be served before 5:00!! Also, if you're able to come later in the time window, please do so as to avoid a 5:00 rush. We appreciate your cooperation & grace as we try to do this ministry in a new way!

Betrayal and the Calm
September 27, 2020 – Dan Glover – Matthew 26:47-50
Betrayal – is a violation of trust

While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people. Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the man; arrest him.” Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed him. Jesus replied, “Do what you came for, friend.” Matthew 26:47-50
1. You must repent

Then Nathan said to David, “You are the man! This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you from the hand of Saul...Then David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” 2 Samuel 12:7 & 13

2. You must ask forgiveness

He (John) went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. Luke 3:3

3. You must act trustworthy

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then..”
1. You must forgive

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:13

2. You must extend grace and compassion

After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, “Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.” John 13:21
