Fall – Session 4
God Reigns
God controls the rise and fall of nations and powers.
Throughout history, we have seen dictators, despots, and other leaders seize control of countries or regions. At the time, some of these leaders and the groups they led appeared to be invincible, carrying an unchecked arrogance as they gained more power. In Isaiah’s day, Tyre and Sidon were Phoenician cities on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea that had a vast and powerful financial empire. To the human eye, they seemed invincible, but they were no match for God. God is sovereign over every nation and human seat of power.
What are some things that may cause a person to question who is really in control?

Rotating Worship Schedule for Adult Bible Study Classes

Beginning September 13, we will be asking each of our Adult Bible Study Classes to rotate to one of our designated remote worship areas (either the Gym or the LOFT) once per month during Worship Service times. This only affects the Worship Service times (8:30 and 11:00 a.m.) and does not affect your Sunday school class time or location. This rotation schedule allows for adequate social distancing during Worship Service times. Please contact Jack Gatewood with any questions or concerns. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
