Part five of a five-week series called "A Way in the Wilderness."
Perhaps the most valuable thing in the wilderness is fire (light). Through the pillar of fire and cloud, God assured His people of His presence. How can you make the most of a 24/7 God?
1. Trust the One who goes ahead of you. (Exodus 13:21a"And the LORD went before them . . .")
His presence is our SALVATION.

2. Obey the One who guides and illuminates you. (Exodus 13:21b ". . . by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light . . .")
His presence is our SANCTIFICATION.

3. Hold on to the One who never leaves you. (Exodus 13:22 "The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people.")
His presence is our SATISFACTION.
