DEBRIEF:
Tell us about yourself in two minutes:
- Share a little about you and your family background
- What do you enjoy?
DIG:
Establish the Life Group:
1. Review the Life Group Leader Commitment Talking Points document
2. Q & A
Sermon Introduction Q’s:
1. What does a person look like who has been formed by the values of this world?

2. What does a person look like who has been formed by the values of Jesus and his kingdom?

3. In the sermon Dan said, “We are all formed into something.” How do we make sure we are being formed into the person God designed us to be? What does that look like?
1. What jumps out to you in the passage? Why?

2. The sermon looked at five ways we are formed in Christ, as Christians:
- Formed in our minds - vs 9
- Formed in our behavior - vs 10
- Formed to endure - vs 11
- Formed by gratitude - vs 12
- Formed by a Jesus transfer - vs 13-14

3. Review each way we are being formed and study the verse(s) associated with it. Then identify and write down one of the five ways you need to focus on this week.
DISCUSS:
(if you’re running out of time, then just pick one of the following questions.)

1. Share with the Life Group one thing God is highlighting for you and why.

2. How does being formed in Christ impact how we face this pandemic?

3. Dan invited us to pray Colossians 1:9-14 over ourselves and over someone else each day. Why do you think he invited us to do that? What kind of difference do you think it will make in our life and the life of another if we take the time do this exercise?
DO:
- What is the ONE THING you are going to DO as a result of meeting together this week?
- Write it down. What you focus on, you move toward.
