Care-witness starts with our character and then naturally moves out through our actions (1 Peter 2:12)
Ways to care for Co-Workers
Instead of eating lunch alone, intentionally eat with other co-workers and learn their stories
Make it a daily priority to encourage someone who does good work
Bring breakfast once a month for those in your department
Make every effort to avoid gossip
Be a voice of thanksgiving, not complaining
Ask someone who others typically ignore if you can grab them a soda or cup of coffee while you are out
Be the first person to greet and welcome new people
Learn people’s names and the names of those in their families
Lead the charge in organizing others to help co-workers in need
Promise (and follow through) your prayers when a co-worker expresses needs
The Cone of Prayer-Care-Share
Prayer: Something I do frequently
Care: Something I do occasionally
Share: Something I do as opportunities arise
The Danger of Care
While talking to others about Jesus without showing the love of Jesus can be a danger, the greater danger is to show people the love of Jesus but never share with them in words how they can have a personal relationship with Jesus.
