Light of the World
Light enables us to see things as they are. Jesus declared, "I am the light of the world." He is the one that enables us to see.

The truth will set you free
Jesus said that the truth will set you free. What kind of truth is he talking about?

But we are not slaves!
The people listening to Jesus words had one issue. They didn't think they needed to be set free. They were so used to their bondage that it felt normal to them.

Are you so used to an area of sin, or brokeness or oppression in your life that it feels normal?

Do you have room for his word?
Jesus said the issue for his audience was that they had no room for his word in their life.

Do you have room for his word, his truth, that can set you free?
