RECAP: In this series we’ve been looking at what it means to be The Church. Church isn’t a service or a building, it’s followers of Jesus on mission together for the good of our world. God invites you to be part of this special community & you’ll only experience your best life if you’re connected & playing your part. It all starts though, with being a follower of Jesus first. If we’re going to follow Him we’ll begin to understand and obey His teaching, we’ll follow His example, and we’ll trust God like Jesus did.

QUESTIONS:
1)What was your view of “church” growing up? Why?
2)In light of COVID and the changes with social distancing, what have you missed most about the church community?
3)How do you think “The Church”, if it did it right, could come together for the good of the world? What part could you play in helping that become more of a reality?
4)We all follow someone or something. If you take an honest assessment of your life – if someone was looking at your life from the outside what or who would they say you’re following?
5)Read Matthew 6:33. What does this say about following and the results of that?
6)“Following” Jesus isn’t about watching Him, it’s walking with Him. Read 1 John 2:6 and John 14:23. What do these say about what it means to “walk” with and “follow” Jesus?
7)Walking with Jesus means understanding and obey His teaching and following His example. What step do you need to take to more align yourself with Jesus?
