Faith Lutheran Church - Oakville
Stranger Things: The Walking Dead, Pastor Chris Sommer
This week begins our new message series, Stranger Things. In this series we are going to talk about some of the super-natural things that happened in the Bible, some of the things that sound like fictional entertainment. And Pastor Chris kicks it off this week by talking about the resurrections that happened on Easter. That’s right… resurrections, plural… Jesus’ resurrection and the other resurrection that happened that same weekend. If it sounds strange that’s because it is. It is strange, but true.

Let us join you to bringing your prayers to the foot of the cross. Whether it is a prayer of Praise, or a prayer of Concern, please allow us to pray together with you. Each week, the Faith Staff meets and personally prays over all requests.

We believe God wants to position Faith to be a generous body of believers able to invest in missional ministry where we live, work, play and beyond; wherever God leads us to bless those who need the Gospel. Faith members and regular attenders are on a journey to discover what it means to move from being blessed to blessing others. We give with gratitude in response to God’s grace and sacrificial love in Jesus, who already has met our deepest needs. He works through the sacrifice and generosity of His people to meet the needs of others and to fuel the mission of His church to make disciples.
