- To make a request and have it denied could cost Nehemiah his job – or even his life!
- The risk was real.
2. Relief
- The King was sympathetic to his concerns.
- Nehemiah made his request.
3. Reward
- The King was more than happy to provide whatever Nehemiah needed.
4. Repercussions
- Opposition to God’s plan was immediate.
1. It is risky whenever we help others.
2. Bathe your efforts in prayer.
3. God will reward your efforts.
4. But understand that there will be opposition.
