Guatemala Mission Trip Prayer Requests
The team will be spending the week of May 27-June 5 living in the mountains outside of Zacapa, Guatemala serving the local people however we can help. We plan on doing painting, plumbing, building beds and benches, and distributing gifts to the villagers. Weather permitting; a few will hike further into the mountains to meet another remote village. One day, the missionaries are taking us to sightsee in Antiqua.

*Safety in another country
*Building relationships with the Guatemalan people
*Team unity between our church and the Faith In Action team
*Knowledge for the team to use their resources, skills, and time effectively
*Cooperative weather (the team is going in the rainy season)
*Continued fundraising for those who have more to raise

River Youth BBQ Night
If you are a student in 6th-12th grade, come out to The River Church on Sunday, May 22 from 6:30pm-8:00pm for our annual BBQ Night. The cost of this event is FREE and will be an amazing opportunity for you and your friends to spend time with other students and celebrate the start of summer. Summer Women’s Study – ‘The Key to Living by Faith”
This is a 13 week study in the book of Hebrews. Starting Tuesday mornings, May 31-August 23 from 9:30am-11:00am.
This study will not only take you through the book of Hebrews, but you’ll learn valuable tools that will help you unlock God’s Word. Join us and discover how to discern God’s truth for yourself. This series is ideal for personal study as well as in a group. You can join us as your schedule permits or study on your own when you can’t be with us. The cost of the book is $10.

Recharge - Messy Art
Summer's here, and what better time to play outside and make a mess! Don't try this at home! Join us for the June 3 Recharge Messy Art meeting, and enjoy spraying chalk, blowing up soap, experimenting with natures greatest paint brushes and marching in paint while wearing bubble-wrap shoes. RiverBank Kids presents Disney’s movie Inside Out, on Friday June 3, at 8:30pm. It’s always a fun night watching a movie under the stars with so many other families. Graduation Sunday
Our 2016 high school seniors will be graduating soon and getting ready for the next step in their academic careers! We want to celebrate with them on Sunday, June 5 during our Sunday morning services. Haiti 101
Whether you are intrigued by the idea of going on a foreign mission trip or you feel a tug in your heart to visit Haiti, we want to invite you to our informational meeting on Sunday June 5 from 12:30pm-1:30pm. We will share what a 2017 trip to Haiti would look like, share basic information about the cost and process as well as answer any questions you may have. Fill out a connection card with “Haiti 101” written in the memo and mark your calendars for Sunday, June 5.
Stand Up: Get in the Story - 3rd-5th Grade Bible Study
This eight-week small group Bible study for 3rd-5th grade students will help them learn conviction and how to stand up for the truth. Upward Soccer Camp
Early registration is now open for this year’s Upward Soccer Camp! Camp is June 13-17, 6:00pm-8:30pm for children kindergarten-5th grade. Early registration is $35 per child; after June 1 the cost is $40 per child. Camp Lebanon!
It’s almost June which means Camp Lebanon is right around the corner! Every summer our Senior High and Junior High ministries go out to Camp Lebanon in Oregonia, OH for a fun week of camp. We would love for your student to join us! Camp 9Twelve meets from June 13-17 and Camp 6Eight meets from June 20-24. Father’s Day Combined Outdoor Service
Join us for our outdoor combined service on Sunday, June 19 at 10:30am. Bring your lawn chair and some friends or family. We will have RiverBank Kids open for nursery and toddlers only. Stay after the service and enjoy a smoked pig and grilled hot dogs. Please bring either a side dish, salad, or munchie to share. The Cone will be here to provide ice cream for desert and the Cincy Photo Bus will be here for you to take pictures with the family in honor of the men and father’s in the church.

AA for Women
A new women’s AA group is meeting on Wednesdays at 12:00pm in the Overflow room at The River Church. The focus will be on the spiritual aspects of recovery.
