It's natural to want to divorce the life and teachings of Jesus from the resurrection of Jesus.
Everything we know about Jesus came from men who believed and were eyewitnesses to the resurrection.
If there was no resurrection, you should abandon all things Christian. If the resurrection is not true, then you are "good" for nothing.
And if Christ has not been raised from the dead, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.
