Main Idea: We are continually torn between our spiritual desires and our sinful actions
I. What’s really going on in us? 7:13
A. Sin used a good law to produce death.
B. The good law revealed how sinful sin actually is.
II. The struggle in us all. 7:14-20
A. Go ahead, try to do good.
B. The battle between the spirit and sin using the flesh within us.
III. So what do we do? 7:21-25
A. The general rule of life.
B. On my own; I am defeated.
C. But we have hope!
FCF: There is a battle being waged within everyone between the will of the mind and the action of sin through our flesh.
CFC: The battle is only won by a complete reliance on Jesus Christ as Lord.
