Saul goes to Damascus with the intention to destroy Christian lives
Something amazing happened to Saul on the road to Damascus that day!
Saul meet’s the resurrected Jesus…he is changed forever!
Jesus said –
“Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" Acts 9:4
Jesus tells Saul…go to Damascus to receive instruction.

For three days Saul is helpless and blind.

•What is he doing for those three long days?
•He’s praying (Acts 9:11) and he’s fasting (Acts 9:9)
Before you can do anything for the Lord, in His name, you have to be forgiven of your sins.
16'Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.' NASU

13 came to me, and standing near said to me, ' Brother Saul, receive your sight!' And at that very time I looked up at him.
The first thing Saul did…

have fellowship with the brethren at Damascus.
The second thing Saul did…

“Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God.” NKJV Acts 9:20

You couldn’t stop Saul from preaching Jesus!
"Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about."Gen 22:2
When was Abraham counted righteous?

Gen.15:4-6 - 5 He took him outside and said, "Look up at the heavens and count the stars — if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be." 6 Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness. NIV

"fix our eyes on Jesus” =
literally, look from one thing so as to see another.
Jesus’ question

"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
