We need to talk.
The healthiest thing we can say is often the hardest thing to hear.
When and how should we have that difficult conversation?
Difficult conversation: this isn’t going to be easy for me to say, and it won’t be easy for you to hear.
Conflict is inevitable.
Conflict, when appropriately dealt with, can be the greatest catalyst for trust and intimacy in a relationship.
Go to the person directly.
Be clear about your motivation.
Pay attention to your tone.
Let them see your heart.
Ask questions and avoid accusations.
Ask for feedback.
